You are getting your daily news fix, at least 15 tabs are opened in your favorite browser. A blog entry links to some stories you want to have a look at later. With Punakea you can simply drag the bookmark to your Sidebar and assign one or two keywords describing the story's content to it, for later reference, then another "ToRead" or "ToDo" tag, and you can forget about it for now.
Additionally, Punakea saves your bookmarks as .webloc files which can be opened by any browser, should you change your mind later on and switch your browser. This way you will never have to worry about migrating your bookmarks ever again!

So what is the real deal? Everything could also be done with folders, right? Well ... we think not!
A lot of files and bookmarks simply do not fit into a single concept (or folder). A single hierarchy restricts to a single aspect - for example which project the file belongs to. But what about the status or the importance of the file. Some means of knowing the file's content with a single glance?
Why do you think libraries give all their books keywords in addition to the rest of all the metadata (title, author, etc.)? Because keywords are powerful! They allow you to do different things than folders ... just try it!
