folder/sub-folder support

I love the idea of this program and will be using it at the end of jobs to add more detailed information for archiving, but I can not let go of the folder organization. It helps me stay on top of things to have client folders with job folders, etc.

I'd like to see an option to drop a folder on punakea and tag the folder and all of it's contents. I know it's not overly difficult to just drag all the files, but on a 200+ page brochure or magazine - there's lots of files to drag.

Thanks!

I agree that this is a

I agree that this is a missing feature. It's already on our todo list. Thanks!

I agree. I like the tagging

I agree. I like the tagging because it allows me to mark files for backup as I generate them. Being able to tag a folder would be a big help.

As an addition to this

As an addition to this request:
It would be nice, if you could drop a folder on the punakea *browser*, and the browser would show only the tags of the included files and folders (in Spotlight you can limit your search to a certain folder or drive).

There will be a possibility

There will be a possibility in the future to narrow down on different locations, we have already thought about that :)

This is the one missing

This is the one missing feature that keeps me from using this app. I already have my files organized by folders, so I can't really start using this app unless there is an easy way to import my folders to tags...

Yea, tagging folders would

Yea, tagging folders would be really helpful.

For some files I just drop them into one folder once they've been tagged.
But for other files (work done for clients) I have to organise them into folders. I still tag them though as it's a good way of bringing up al files related to a project.

When will you add this sub-folder feature?
This problem still keep me from using this app.

Yes, the notorious todo list

Yes, the notorious todo list - we have pushed this back again and again, sorry. We'll try to include it soon!
